ABOUT THE ITALIANS The continued succession of natural catastrophes (earthquakes, volcanoes, famine) together with foreign invasions and domination has meant that we Italians have become accustomed to constant atmosphere of instability which in turn becomes our most effective protection, making us appreciate each minute of each day, stimulating our guttural instinct to create with creativity which stems from individual talents and their ability to network regardless of the transitoriness of an existence which is accepted and relaunched only in a world beyond which can only be imagined. |
